Welcome to the best kept secret in the Arkansas River valley -- the Area Career & Technical Center.  Located in Russellville, the Center offers programs in 9 career and technical areas.  The Center, which was built in 1972 and opened with 5 programs, has undergone extensive remodeling and additions to become one of the largest secondary career and technical centers in Arkansas.  The Center draws its 500 plus student enrollment from 11 area high schools in Pope, Yell, and Johnson counties which include: Russellville, Dover, Pottsville, Hector, Atkins, Dardanelle, Danville, Two Rivers, Western Yell County, Lamar and Clarksville High Schools.
